About Shiro Amani Foundation

Shiro Amani Foundation is a public international community development organization, founded in 2012 and legally registered on May 23, 2022, in Washington State with the Registrar of Companies. We are a mission-driven foundation dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized community groups both locally and internationally.

Our work focuses on promoting health and wellness, preventing and rehabilitating drug and alcohol addiction, supporting mental health, addressing HIV/AIDS, advancing economic empowerment, protecting the environment, retaining orphans and vulnerable children in schools, and championing women and youth programs.

We believe in community-driven change. Our core approach is organizing grassroots groups and equipping communities with tools to address their own social and economic challenges.

Our beneficiaries include orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), women and men, survivors of domestic violence, youth, and persons living with disabilities (PWDs). Shiro Amani Foundation is mandated to serve both locally and internationally.

To facilitate the empowerment of marginalized and vulnerable community groups through social mobilization and organizing them for action, capacity development and participation guided by equal opportunities for all.

We envision a world empowered society actively engaging in sustainable health education, development and participation.

Our Key Implementing Partners

The foundation works closely with local communities, community based development groups including community based organizations (CBO), Faith Based Organizations (FBO), persons with disability groups, civil society organizations and development partners including developmental agencies and non governmental organizations and foundations, individual donors, youth and women groups, learning and research institutions, private sectors and community resource persons in the implementation of the programs.
